Yarn dyed, which means that the yarns are dyed before weaving. The warp is a different colour yarn to the weft and this gives the fabric a chambrey look, grainy and subdued and very classy. The fabric is medium weight, suitable for furnishing or clothing.
The selvedge is printed 'organic cotton'.
Crossweaves vary in weight, please ask for a sample.
Batches of handmade fabrics will be slightly different from batch to batch as they can be made by different weavers.
